Musandam, Oman Trip – A Journey to Khasab

Musandam, sometimes referred to as ‘Norway’ of Arabia, turned out to be a good one-day escape out of the UAE for a change! The Musandam Peninsula is the northernmost part of Oman jutting out into the Strait of Hormuz at the entrance to the Persian Gulf. The province is separated from the rest of Oman by various of the United Arab Emirates – Ras al Khaimah and Fujairah. Musandam more or less begins where the mountains rise from the plains of Ras al Khaimah.

For more information on how to get there or have your dhow cruise arranged, contact Golden tulip hotel at Khasab.
