Established in 1989, Dhana is Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 km2 of rugged landscape. It sweeps down in a series of mountain ridges, from the 1500m high plateau near Quadesiyya to the desert plains of Wadi Araba. Given this information, alongside sources that spoke about hundreds of rare plants species and wild animals that we never got to meet, Dana was our choice for a one night camping trip.
